Tags help you segment entities like tickets, solution articles, and contacts for easy identification. On this page, you can rename tags, merge them, and remove them from associated entities.


When you are working on tickets or accessing articles, characterizing them by adding a tag would help to track and segregate them with respect to issues or requests. Tags also serve the purpose of indexing search for solution articles.


How to create tags for tickets?


To create tags for tickets:


  1. Navigate to tickets and open a ticket. In the right side pane, there is a field called tags; you can add any existing or new tags there. 
  2. The existing and new tags count will be added to the main Admin > Tags page.




How to create tags for Solution articles?


Navigate to Solutions > open an article, and click Edit, and in the right side pane, you can add the tags. While creating a new article, too, you can add the tags there.
